Concert at Varsity Acres School

Thanks to Calgary Association for the Development of Music Education, the Music Performance Trust Fund, and Calgary Musicians Association, we were able to perform Little Red Riding Hood with Beethoven for over 300 elementary students at Varsity Acres School today. Gratitude to teacher Chloe Roy for getting things organized, and for the awesome tech team who set up the sound system and projection! Students had lots of great questions afterwards, including when the music was written, how long it took to write the story, and whether we’ve considered adding animation. You could hear a pin drop between movements– the kids were totally focused in. It was a pleasure spending time with everyone!
